Rick and Daryl find Beth instead of Jesus. They bring her back to Alexandria where they all welcome her back. Daryl isn't too quick to opening up to Beth like he did in the funeral home but he's always near her. And Beth, she's not the same either.
Beth gets a smaller loft like house near the edge by a wall. After everything that happened at Grady she's still twitchy at the thought of being behind the walls. Feeling trapped almost. Daryl asks if she needs help with anything. To take her mind off things she tells him yes, starting with painting the inside of her flat.

Story starts right after the incident at Hershel's barn but does not follow the story line of the show after that. The main character is a young woman named Nora who at first has developed feelings for Glenn after he was the one who helped get her out of the city. When she realizes she's held on to her feelings too long, she quickly starts to feel lost. Nora is somewhat of a trouble magnet but most of all she just wants to find her place in this new world. Along the way, she finds comfort in an unlikely person. (I do not own the original art for the cover) {I started this story back in December 2011 on Tumblr and although it didn't get the fan following that I had always hoped for, it did well in it's own way. It had loyal followers and I got comments on how much readers loved it. I thought I would try posting it on Wattpad to see what becomes of it. The story is completed on Tumblr and as I bring it over here, I'm also doing small rewrites to the story. There are scenes that I needed to cut out and change up just because my view of things has changed as well and I wanted this story to reflect that. I haven't written a fanfic story in about nine years. However, I have become a bit frustrated and impatient waiting for a conclusion to this romance and war on The Walking Dead. So, I decided to write a conclusion. None of the characters are my property or creation, but the property of AMC. Just borrowing them for recreational purposes.
