I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. After all, I was Destiny Requalhi, Creator and Destructor of All. ------------------------------ Destiny Requalhi, a girl with a rough past and set in stone future. She wanted to be a normal lioness when she grew up but got so much more. She constantly is looking behind her back ready for a random attack to bestow itself upon her. After a cataclysmic event caused by mysterious celestial orbs, the world is reshaped into a realm where magic, power, and survival intertwine. These orbs-divine relics that descend from the heavens-grant chosen humans supernatural abilities, turning them into "Takers." Humanity rebuilds amid chaos, birthing new kingdoms, currencies (crystal essence), and hierarchies of strength. Among the survivors is the Silvermist family, simple people living near a cemetery in the newly reborn Kingdom of Earth. Their peaceful life shatters when Gaia, the eldest daughter, is discovered to possess a rare orb. The kingdom forcibly takes her away, leaving her brother Garner vowing to rescue her. Driven by loss and anger, Garner ventures into the forbidden Unknown Forest, where mythical beasts, teleporting frogs, and flaming butterflies exist. There, he discovers a mysterious orb-his destiny. This orb, named Law, grants him godlike powers to alter natural laws themselves. But such power comes with pursuit-he becomes hunted by the kingdom. Saved by the enigmatic Queen of the Rose, Rosalia, Garner trains under her protection, learning to master Law while uncovering secrets about the world's origin, power hierarchy, and the shadowy organization known as The 12 Circles-a council of divine-class Takers that secretly governs global balance. As Garner grows stronger and meets Teresa, another prodigy of divine rank, he learns that his power may surpass even the gods'. Together, they begin a journey that will test their morality, loyalty, and destiny as forces beyond comprehension converge to control the fate of their world.

ONLY CH 1-10 OPEN. AVAILABLE ON AMAZON KINDLE! ❤️ If you're here for your typical werewolf story, mine isn't it. There is no mighty Alpha Knight that will come save me, take care of all my problems and love me unconditionally. No, for I am a savage. 'The Bloody Red Queen' is what they call me. I ascended my throne as Luna of the Nightingale pack after the death of my parents. I was a single child of two wolves of a very special ancestry, the last two descendants of the Gypsy Gail line. No, my parents weren't related, no incest here. However, both did carry blood from the first Lycan clan to ever exist. The Gypsy Gail pack. It is said it got its name and its power from the Gypsies who lived amongst it. They too praised the Moon Mother and in return, she soon paired them with her beloved creations as mates. This of course, changed the history of Lycans forever. Soon, werewolves with unique capabilities came to exist. Many used these gifts to better the world around them and others, well obviously didn't. Then there were those that were not gifted abilities. They grew scornful and jealous. When they broke away, they formed packs of their own and soon wars raged. Over the millennia, the Gypsy Gail pack fell, as did most of its descendants. Only a few lived on in secret, passing down their traditions and rituals in dark corners amongst those highly trusted. The world now believes that the Moon Mother has turned her back on the Lycans of today. Nothing could be further from the truth. Many no longer seek her guidance or offer her praise. Those that still do are looked down upon as weak. But as the heir to the last of the Gypsy Gail gifts, I am to right the wrongs. My purpose is to put the Moon Mother back in the forefront and unite the Lycan packs. To bring a permanent peace. I am Luna Amina Sage of the Nightingale pack. And this is my purpose. This, is my legacy.

It has been nine years since Lyra discovered Grigore; her Weaver and guardian of the living magic nestled in her body. Nine years since she doggedly followed him through hell and death, determined to not let him slip out of her grasp and shake free his denial. Nine years since he accepted her. Rumours are spreading that a Lord is hunting Sources; his lands plagued by famine and madness. As Lyra dreams of two women begging her to save them, she finds herself inexplicably pulled to the cursed lord and his haunted lands. Despite the dangers, Lyra and Grigore dive into the chaos, unaware that their abilities as a hunting pair and as lovers was going to be put to the test. Volume Two of the Dark Folktales. This is a horror, erotic romance, with monster-of-the-week vibes, such as Buffy, Supernatural, Witcher, Claymore, and Van Helsing. (I'm a massive fan of the monster hunting genre.) Back in 2014 I finished writing the original story, The Weaver's Source, and I am re-opening the world again as I feel I have a story worth telling. The Coven's Source is set nine years after the original ends, is a single story arc rather than many small ones. This will show the hunter I always envisioned Lyra to be but didn't have the opportunity to show. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. I'm happy with helpful criticism, spelling/grammar pointers, questions or simple chatter. However, a tirade of needless, unhelpful complaints and just outright rude commentary is not welcome. My stories are terrible first drafts, they're going to be riddled with issues, so just politely highlight if you feel there's a problem. I'll listen and likely take on board the criticism. And if you're not enjoying it, that's fine, just move on and thank you for giving it a shot.
