What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Credits: Undertale, obviously, created by Toby Fox and Temmie Chang. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). After the war, the monsters retreated into the deepest part of the Underground, which would be called, "Home." - Note: In chapter one i NICKNAME frisk "Sam" Due to the fact you dont figure out their name until the end of pacifist so i had to put a nickname to make it easier to write and read. Sam is a neutral name so it should be fine. - NOTE: All lines with this symbol " * " is going to be in Wing Ding font in the final release of the book. But for now, it is already deciphered for you! - *So yeah! A monster named Asriel came to help her, and quickly accepted her into the family. However, a disease fell upon the young child, and she died shortly after. Years later, a 7th human fell down into the ruins. However, the spirit of the first human took over her body, and decided to take out her revenge on the monsters of the underground. Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. So basically, this is a fanfiction of a fancomic of the game Undertale. Look, I'm gonna admit, I'm little stuck in the Undertale fandom, so this is my of slowly crawling out of it.
