Alpine Claw has been from foster home to foster home after her dad and brother's disappearance and her mother's death. It didn't help how every family she was sent to always threw her away like she wasn't a human being in the end, rendered an annoyance. Her current situation isn't any better, and there are moments she's wondered if going back to the mind-numbing systems and the orphanage would be better.
Upon winning an archery competition involving a guarantee trip to a State of the Art camp on Isla Nublar as its prize, Alpine believes she's finally able to let out the breath she knew she's been holding and enjoy her break from her tormenting foster family. That is until shady experiments backfire and cause mass evacuation.
Except part of those experiments resulted in the discovery of a young hybrid who imprinted on Alpine after the 14 year old witnessed the hybrid hatch-- which she wasn't supposed to.
Now, alongside six other campers, Alpine must survive on the dinosaur-infested island while protecting her friends from certain death.
And perhaps prioritizing the not-so-dangerous hybrid she's taken in under her care.
