Darcy was just a baby when her parents gave her up for adoption.
They simply weren't stable enough to raise a baby.
They had hoped for her to go to a sweet and loving family, but not everything works out how you want.
Darcy is 16 and still living in the same orphanage, she had hoped for so long that her parents would come back to keep her.. but she lost that hope over time.
On her 10th birthday all she wanted was her parents.. or any parents really. She gave up trying to be sweet to the adults that would come in to adopt because she knew, they were only here for the babies and toddlers.
So she stopped talking to just about everyone.
She stopped trying to be the perfect little girl for someone to adopt and instead faded into the background.

Darcy was walking back to the orphanage from school one day when out of nowhere, she feels a hand on her mouth and everything goes dark.
She wakes up feeling confused, lightheaded, and cold in what she assumes is a basement.

What will she do?
Will she try to escape?

(A/N: I wrote this at 13, but I still like the idea of it. So I'm going to be editing/changing basically a whole lot of it. I won't promise regular updates but I'll try to keep going on this story)
