Meet Hayden Price. After losing her parents in a devastating car crash and moving in with her aunt, the bitterness gets its way with her.The person she once knew as herself, is now gone.So she decides she has to create a new character, one that doesn't give a sh*t about anything because caring simply hurts. With her heart now on lock down, who will be able to break in? Nobody. That is, unless she provides the key.

Meet Nathan Reynolds. He suffered a great loss of his girlfriend when he graduated college. She was murdered cold blood. Nathan takes matters into his own hands and copes the only way he knows how to. He flicks the humanity switch. It's as if he doesn't feel anything. No love and no hate. He's practically swimming in bitterness. His love life is practically no effort on his part. One night stands and their gone. When he finally decides to do something with his degree, he gets a job as an English teacher at a local private school.

So what happens when Nathan strides his way into Hayden's school one morning? Will the two most careless people find something they care about? Let's just say there is a thin line between love and hate, but who knows, hate is a feeling as well and if they hate each other, its just a sign of humanity. Things might go a little different in this story, I guess we'll just have to find out who really doesn't care.
