I clung to my younger brother and sister as the ground beneath us all began to shake rapidly. It felt as though the entire foundation known as ground would crumble beneath us all. "It's happening!" My older brother, Daniel shouted running into the room. I could see genuine panic in his eyes. We both knew this was no mere earthquake. And, we both knew it was not planned. "That's impossible! It wasn't supposed to happen for another year!" My younger brother, Ben shouted back, trying to maintain a hearable conversation over all the noise from the earthquake. "What?" My younger sister, Hope cried profusely. "Sarah! What the hell are we supposed to do?!" Daniel shouted. Everyone turned to me expectantly. I had no idea what I was supposed to do. "What the hell?" The book in my hands glowed, letting out a bright yellow light. I panicked, dropping the book to the floor and began to back up. But it was no use as a powerful force dragged me closer and closer to book, I let out a scream as I was then sucked in. "Hey, miss.." I heard a soft voice call, "Miss, please wake up. You can't sleep there, you'll catch a cold." I opened my eyes with a groan, my vision blurred for a moment. It soon cleared up and I was shocked when I saw a handsome young man with soft eyes standing directly over me. "Ahh!!" "Ahh!!" He shouted, backing up from me as I sat up. "Who- Who are you?" I looked around, noticing that I was no longer in my library at home. Instead, I was laying on soft, green lush grass in the middle of the forest. "Where am I?" I looked back at the young man, taken back by his handsomeness. His eyes softened for a moment, before widening and he opened his mouth. "Oh, my gosh!! The prophecy Came true!!!" "What prophecy?" "The Prophecy of Eurodipes. You are the one who Will save our world!" "huh?" Follow the adventure of a lifetime as a young girl is sucked into a mysterious book, which teleports her to a whole new world. "Things just got much more interesting. I didn't think Good would send you. It just means I can torture this body even longer." I watched as a blade appeared in his hands and heard two screams as Lydia and Zachary were grabbed by an unseen force, pulling them out of the room. The door slammed closed with a resounding click. All Sarah wanted was a cry in private after her wedding was called off. Instead, she finds her co-worker rising from the bathroom stall - with an insatiable hunger for human flesh. ~~~ Sarah had locked herself in the office bathroom, sobbing after her fiancé, Mark called off the wedding. Through her tears, she heard strange groans coming from the next stall. "Ugh, someone has food poisoning," she thought. But when the stall door swung open, the slouched figure that emerged was not sick-it was dead, with lifeless eyes and decaying flesh. Sarah opened her mouth to scream just as the infected co-worker lunged at her. She was trapped, as the entire office went into lockdown due to a zombie outbreak. There would be no easy escape from the horror that was breaking out in Manhattan.
