In these years, they had poured in so much hard work, and dedication, only to face the toxicity of the internet amongst fans. Yet, they navigated their way through everything, pushing through and battling their own mental health in the process. But happens when Dan isn't content just being friends.. how could he possibly navigate that? "This was the most fun I've ever had."

You've lived most of your teenagerhood as a major fan of Dan and Phil, and a proud member of the Phandom (shipping them or not, your choice.) You wake up one day to find yourself seemingly inserted into Dan's life as his best friend, and the next day inserted into Phil's life. You alternate being your two favorite YouTubers' best friend. Finally, you notice that Dan and Phil are notably absent from each other's lives: they've never met. Meet Dan and Phil. The boys are roommates at university, Phil being the quiet one with stage freight and Dan is the loud, outgoing one. Phil prefers his books. Dan prefers his band. The two are completely different and rarely communicate, so when the lead singer of Dan's band drops out, he becomes desperate and has heard Phil singing one too many times. Dan is that kid. The popular boy that every girl swoons over, that everyone wants to be friends with, the boy that's a complete jerk to anyone lower on the totem pole. But deep down, he's just trying to hide and ignore his own secret- that he's gay. Phil is Dan's usual target. Openly gay, awkward, and nerdy, he seems to be easily bullied. He's always too afraid to say anything and would rather stay in the background and get through high school and go to university. When Dan's grades slip 🔚 he needs to bring them up or else repeat his senior year, Phil is assigned to tutor Dan. It seems to be a terrible coincidence that the two are brought together, but it's so much more.
