"I rejected you." I said it such a calm voice and surprised myself. He stood there across the table staring at me with a face of horror. My claws extended from my hand, pushed deep in my chest and surrounded my still beating heart. "N....o." His voice cracked as he shook with rage, anger, betrayal and heart ache. "I rejected you."
