"'What was that?' Katarina asked turning to look back.
All of a sudden, every...single....light....in the whole carnival turned off, rides stopped, and it was so dark I couldn't even see my own hand. People screamed and went 'Awww'. But I had a bad feeling in my gut and I know my friends felt the same thing because I heard Allison scream."

Four girls, Carter, Laurianne, Allison, and Katarina have been best friends ever since they can remember. They tell each other everything and trust the others with their lives. That trust is put to the test when one of their friends is taken at a busy carnival. With exactly one week to search for clues and the location of their best friend, these girls are in a race against the clock. Can their friendship conquer the ultimate scavenger hunt that will either leave one of their best friends dead or alive. Will they beat the clock or will time run out at the last second?
