We used to remind each other that time was on our side, we'd be together for as long as our forever lasts.
We were little then.
Clueless of the unknown because there was no possible way of knowing.
As he got older, memories faded and new ones replaced.
I, unfortunately, wasn't given my fair share of what is right for the time or what was coming to be.
I was left behind like a rock in a water stream.
Staying still as everything passes by.
New memories don't exist until I find what weighs me down.
