The Freehorn's Scars

Kirtok Strongarm, a minotaur of the Freehorn clan, awakens one day to a nightmare. Not only has a wildfire claimed his home, but the lives of his family as well. Even in his grief, he finds no reprieve as the townsfolk have turned him into a pariah because of the flame-shaped scar on his cheek. Kirtok is Spirit-Touched, one of a cursed few whose bodies have become vessels for dormant spirits. Determined to get his home back by any means necessary, Kirtok is approached by a member of the Black Guard mercenaries.

As Kirtok works to earn back his childhood home, he must come to terms with what home and family really is, and with the growing menace that lives within him.
