In a world much different from our own lay the creatures we once heard of in fairytales. The cloaked thief who robbed from the rich and gave to the poor. The red caped girl who fled the wolf. The maid who became a royal. What if all those characters were real? What if all the stories were false? What if Cinderella never made it to the ball? What if the wolf ate Red Riding Hood? What if Robin Hood robbed the poor? 
Sorrel is sixteen and is an orphan. She lives on the streets of Deur and feels that waiting for a knight in shining armor is a waste of time. She hunts in the Winter Woods everyday, and never once did she experience anything but normal. Until one day, when a prophecy, a squire, and a cocky unicorn paths collide....

All in plain sight yet undiscovered as the human eye can not see them. Some time ago these unicorns where driven away and captured by an ancient fire elemental fae called the Red Bull. Yet he missed one tiny and naive unicorn that hid herself in the forests deep. Her name was [Y/n]. It was not long until she found out about her fellow unicorn's capturer. As she hid far away from the fae. She was in hiding. Suddenly one day that unicorn got hit by a black carriage led by ebony horses. These are horrible time in the kingdom. While King Richard left his country in the cruel and greedy hands of his brother Prince John, the city is falling to despair and ruin having no true leader to protect them. Somehow though, the city find hope of a young man with the name of Robin Hood. While he helps his people many other problems happen in this kingdom. The Kings Daughter, Isabella, has been forced to stay with her cruel cold hearted Uncle.When she has enough of her uncle and plans to run away, Robin comes to the rescue, but Isabella is anything but happy about meeting him....again. P.s imagine their is no Marian, this is a whole new character and plot set! Enjoy ;)

Red Riding Hood was walking by the forest carrying a basket for her grandmother, and gets tricked by the wolf. That's the story that you HAVE heard. The generations of mystery and heartbreak of the Red Hiding Hood name led to questions and unbeliefs. Especially in this story. The story that you haven't heard. This time, the forest is filled with nightmares and a PACK of wolves. Even imagination friends who aren't even that good. The deadly forest is known to make people go insane. Especially the Red Riding Hood bloodline. But the main character needs to know what happened. She needs to bring the medicines that her grandmother had mailed to her to bring. The grandmother lives at the OTHER side of the forest. But how did she get there? And who exactly IS the grandmother of this tale? The wolf? Or something that had to be dead, but in the end... She makes not only friends, but enemies along the way. This special girl wishes only to help those in need. She's a girl that cares nothing of herself but for others. At times the only option for her seems to be is giving up. But, her Merry Men help her along the way as they battle dukes, lords, and sheriffs in a fight for justice......................................................:..... I am a Rebel, they say. They're right. It all started when I was a young girl, my parents died in a fire, started by the King of our land. I was only 6 years of age, and I was left with a burn tracing up my arm and onto my collarbone. I was taken in by a woman I called 'Stepmother'. The King's actions caused my life, he's caused so much death. At least half the village has suffered because of him. I now fight against the King, and his daughter, I'm now a leader. There are so many others whom he has wronged. We used to be small group, but now we've grown in numbers. Millicent (though we call her Maleficent on accident) the Dragon Sorceress, Peter Pan the boy who can fly, Killian Hook the Pirate, Red Riding Hood the Wolf Slayer and Animal Tamer, Hansel and Gretel the Witch Hunters, Rumplestiltskin the Wizard, Blue the Fairy, Maethranal the Elven Queen, Jack the Giant Killer, Gothel the Witch, Merida the Archer, and Banshee, are the original people in our group who aren't dead. Gothel was being hunted by Hansel and Gretel at the time I met all three of them. Merida was adopted by Maethranal and trained as an Elven archer. Blue and Banshee are related by blood. Peter and Killian were enemies, but then banded together to stop Rumpelstiltskin, who later agreed to work with me. I love them like family, especially since my seven friends were killed. I miss them so much. They were my first friends, and helped me start this... rebel group. My husband contributed just as much as they did, and had the same fate. Eight people dead in one tiny little raid. I killed my stepmother, and use her riches to buy weapons for us all. We now hide in an abandoned castle in the middle of the dark forest, called 'The Red Tower', and is shrouded in fog and mist. Nobody would dare to look for us here because of all the dark creatures that guard the areas around. Red tames them all and converts them to our cause. 'Who am I?' you ask? DISCONTINUED Basically just a fairytale retelling of Snow White, Rose Red, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and some other stories. I might mix in some folklore/mythology characters as well, but idk. Also there isn't much romance. And Prince Charming is the villain. I'm in the midst of writing new chapters, so the updates will be slow. Tw: forced marriage, abuse (spousal), rape, rebellion, death, homophobia, misogyny, and please tell me if missed anything. These are all kinda important to the plot so if you're sensitive to them just don't read it.
