Toby is a broken boy, he is lost and empty. He may be numb to pain, but not emotional pain, and it really hurts.
Masky is a broken man, he is lost and empty. He may seem cold and emotionless on the outside, but on the inside he is dead.
What first seemed like empty acts, slowly forms into what can only be assumed something much more deeper than just acts of two broken souls from one to another.
