I never was quite human, and it didn't help that Delaine Jane made the government change me. I was now far too perfect to me human. I didn't understand any of the dirty jokes people sent my way, and when someone gave me a glare it meant war. Then Matthew came along, and he was weirdly different. I thought he was just some weirdo that hung around my friends, and then he asked me to dance. At first, I didn't want to, but when your best friend drags you to a dance, then makes sure you dance with the one guy you don't want to . . . you don't have a choice. Evelyn was just the person to do that to me, little did I know she secretly liked him too. By the end, my head is hurting, and my eyes are filled with tears. Now I am trying to avoid hurting the one person I like most, all because I'm the government's new project. Project perfection.
