Forbidden Secrets

I kept backing up until my back hit the tree behind me. I heard a low growl as I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. I could hear the sound of footsteps coming closer and closer to me.

I lunged forward holding my dagger tightly with the sharp tip aimed to where I thought the targets chest was with my eyes closed.

Then after that. Unexpectedly I heard the sound of my dagger dropping on the ground. He embraced me and pinned me against the rough tree with his incredible amount of strength. Both my arms were being pinned above my head.

I opened my eyes slowly and I stared at him with wide eyes. He let go of my right hand and moved his hand down to my wet cheek. His touch was so soft almost like a feather. It was hard to believe that I could think he could harm me. His eyes explored mine. "Don't cry Chloe" he spoke with a soft voice.
