My true life story of suffering from a rare autoimmune disease of the liver, its diagnosis, prognosis, treatments, its debilitating impact on my life and how I learned, and am still learning, to cope with it day to day. Hopefully, this'll help someone dealing with something similar, because there is, in my eyes, not much worse than long term pain and long term illness, especially when there's not someone nearby who understands its debilitating nature.

When pain isn't a good enough reason to hate yourself anymore, you have to hate everything else just to love yourself enough to hate the person responsible for all of your pain. There's growth in allowing yourself to suffer to learn how to rebuild your confidence. Sometimes it feels worth it. Sometimes you can't feel anything at all.
