A simple school field trip. Seems easy enough. Board a plane. Go to the Land of Lightning. See new sights. Meet new people. Board another plane. Go home.

Sadly, Naruto's life could never be described by the word 'easy'. Neglected and abused by his fellow villagers, the blonde is on his last leg. His life's been hard from start to what will inevitably be its end, and he's just barely staying alive. But what happens when he's taken away from all his troubles for much longer than planned? The money for a school field trip to Kumogakure mysteriously appears with his teacher, but Naruto is far too worn out to question it. Feeling somewhat happy to be going somewhere where no one knows his name, he sits patiently as his plane soars through the sky... And then begins its chaotic descent to earth.

Now, twelve teenagers and one dog must learn to survive on an island with no guide book, no professional medical care, and no outside help. Their god-forsaken rock of an abandoned pain in the ass is their new reality. Food isn't too hard to find, and shelter comes easy. Heck, there's even a hot spring. But still, everyone has their cross to bare, and Naruto's is heavier than most. Especially when a certain Uchiha falls for him, causing all sorts of awkward problems.
