Raven Lockwood usually found herself ignoring the events around her and indulging in a personal daydream. 

It was stuff like "What if the The Doctor turned up in his TARDIS and whisks me away through all of time and space?" or "What if Harry Styles burst through the door in the middle of Sociology class and professed his love for me?"

She had just moved from the big busying city of London to a small town 15 miles out from the nearest city where there were only 2 schools, and minimal mainstream shops.

So in order to keep herself busy, Raven would daydream.

But she had no clue she was the subject of a certain other's day dream also.

"Oh," he said, as my back hit the wooden wall. Damn it, of course. With nowhere to go, his arms locked me in between him and the wall. The thing that plagues her is her ability to go through anybody's and everybody's dreams which has a nasty side effect--she lost her ability to speak in the real world. This is not something she can control, nor something that's necessarily dangerous. It just happens. One second she's in darkness, the next second she happens to be in someone's dream. But, when she stumbles into a dream of a guy she never knew existed in her grade of 500 students, albeit his popular status, both her worlds get flipped upside down.

[Completed] "That was the first night I had the dream. I was standing in a wilderness. Everything was black. Yet, there was a light ahead. It was dim but it looked promising. I hesitated whether actually walking towards the light, after all it could be a trap. That's when Harry appeared with a hand out towards me. "You want to know my secret?" his eyes were loving, something I hadn't seen before. "Follow me and you'll find out." I took his hand and we headed toward the light. But that's where it ended. It had me thinking though, was there a light at the end of all of this darkness?" - honestly, i wrote this when i was like a freshman in high school so it's really cringey 😬 no judgement, please.
