Mereka telan rasa kelaparan dengan tamak dan rasuk sekali; tanpa memberikan sedikitpun rasa pedihnya kepada yang lain. Adapun dalam saku kiri dan kanan penuh berisi ilmu, sayang tidak ada satupun daripadanya (baca: ilmu) berjaya mengeyangkan mereka. 
    
Sampai ke satu peringkat, kelaparan adalah iblis. 
  
Menjadi wabak yang berdikit-dikit menyerang dan merosakkan kota Bani Terakhir.
