I wrote this story back in fifth grade.
14 year old Nicole is forced to become queen of a village in a forest on a cliff way too far from her hometown. Yet, her servants are faithful enough to make her want to stay, including the old Hollow Harriet, and the young, lively boy Itrus. But the day she became queen, Nicole's only lover was killed by the former queen. As the days go by, her sorrow rises like a swollen river. Can she really handle it?
