They both had a twin. He swore, she studied. He smoked, she didn't. He was a player, she was just a girl. He noticed her, she noticed him. He liked her, she didn't like him. **** "Love, what is it that attracts me to you?" Lance spoke, with his Italian accent. "Sorry Pal, not interested in bad boys." I replied. He started smirking. "We'll see about that princess." He muttered, and walked off.

As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
