Life in the Marines can be tough my brother knows first-hand. He fought for our country for a long time and went through tough training. My Uncle was in the Air-Force. He was in the front lines all the time working for the Air-Force putting his life on the line. This book is dedicated to their survival and to all those out there keeping America safe. Thank all of my followers out there!!! You guys are my light in this world and you are what inspires me to write. Thanks!!! Couldn't do it without you!!! You guys are always there to pick me up when I fall. I have 8 more drafts to power through and you guys can just help me to keep on trucking and get these stories published. Thanks again!!!

*Formally Known As: My Hero is My Best Friend and a Marine (MBFFM) "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." -George Orwell "Mummy door!" Bentley yelled running in the kitchen from the foyer. "Is she, well lets go see" I say wiping my hands on my apron, walking to the front door. As I open the door I see a Marine standing there in his uniform with a few envelopes in his hand. "Are your Alana Kelsall?" he asks in a kind voice. Confused I reply "Yeah I am please, call me Anna." as Bentley peeks out from behind my legs. I have this really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that I know what this is about. "I'm General R. Paul, on behalf of the United States Marine Corps, we are sorry to tell you that Captain Damon Norris was killed in the line of duty. These are for you." He says handing me the two envelopes. <3 Damon and Anna have been best friends since they were in diapers. Their families are close friends. When Damon was 18 he decided to join the forces, more specifically the Marines; following in his grandfather's footsteps. What she doesn't know is that he has loved her since he was only 13 but, was just too scared to tell her. He had only one week after basic training to see his family before being deployed to Iraq for 4 years. So they decided to spend his last week together and before his deployment; they wind up sleeping together. Resulting in her becoming pregnant. What would you do if you were told that your best friend, and the father to your children was dead? Then years later find out that he actually survived by showing up on your doorstep late in the night? ~*~*~ *Warning: there is a lot of cussing, crude remarks, the occasional sex scene, and possible triggers, don't say you weren't warned.* Co-written with: River-Elliot D. James
