Norman Bates, the manager of Bates Motel lives with his mother Norma and he is convinced everything is okay. Everything is quaint in his mind. That isn't the case though. He is sick. He is a very sick boy but his mother refuses to accept this. Why? Because her daughter was ill once and she lost her to the evil that took over her body. She thought her baby girl was gone forever, Norman had forgotten about her and Dylan, her half-brother, wasn't put under strict order to never mention her name; Alice Bates.
Alice Bates is very much alive though and well. She has made herself a new life in London, England without her family. Aged only 18 she works for a powerful business in the middle of the cosmopolitan city and she has a fortune in her back pocket with her mental health on track but she doesn't feel complete. She has a good job, and money, a boyfriend, a beautiful house and a stable mind. What could it possibly be that she is missing? She is missing the truth about her family. She is missing the truth about her twin, Norman.
Norman is missing the truth too. When finding pictures of a girl in his mother's bedroom under her mattress questions spiral her brain. Who is she? Who is this girl? Norman will go to great strengths to find the truth out about something, so this time isn't going to be different. He will do anything in his power to find out the truth about the mysterious girl.
Will Norma crack? Will Dylan spill? Will Alice and Norman ever know the truth? Will their mental health let them do this?
