This is a story about a girl named Layyan Azeez. She faces a lot of challenges in her life, but the main thing being the fact that she's obese and a muslim in an American society. Living in a family of 9 doesn't help her either. Nobody understands what she's going through, not even her best friend since childhood. She is a practicing muslim and the only thing that can help her escape the harsh reality is Allah, and slowly realizes that she really isn't standing alone, more like... standing alone-ISH.
