While the civilian loss is equally devastating, the fall of Echo and the Nightstrike fleet are crippling to the United Space Defense Forces. What remains of FLIGHTCOM has ordered all USDF installations on Mavros IV, outside of the Aganthos region, to move to Force Protection Condition Charlie. Lycurgus Academy is amongst these installations."

In the 24th century, an ancient alien species identifying themselves only as the Architects attacked the planet of Mavros IV, home of the Lycurgus Academy of Military Science. The 16 cadets of Alaris Squad, led by Adrian Valis, found themselves suddenly thrown into the slow-boil of a growing war, taking on increasingly dangerous responsibilities.
