"Storm?" a voice calls out to me. It strange hearing someone say my name after so long. They repeat themselves and I realize that I'm going to have to open my eyes. It takes a few blinks for everything to come into focus. "Noah?" I stutter slightly due to my confusion. Where am I? His face blurs until my eyes manage to hold his image. "Noah!" I say loudly this time, more confidently. It's him! He's here! I try to sit up and groan in pain. "I know you're eager to see my pretty face again but calm the hell down." He replies and I feel his hands on my shoulders pushing me down. A laugh bursts out of me at his comment but it turns into a sob. "You're okay now, Spark. You're okay" he comforts and gently picks up my hand. I'm fine. I take a deep breath. I'm fine. "Noah?" "Yeah?" "I missed you" "Of course you did. I'm beautiful" He replies cockily. A few seconds pass. "I missed you too" he says and squeezes my fingers. Noah and Storm. It's always been Noah and Storm. Best friends since they can remember, the pair can't go a day without the other. It's as if they are tied together and they don't let anyone else in. Rumors say that when Noah went on holiday one year, they both got physically sick from missing each other. After that, they go everywhere together - they're in the same classes and some people say they sleep in the same house. Life has always been great for Noah and Storm. That is until tragedy strikes. Storm is kidnapped. Noah snaps - he skips school and gets into fights. A bad boy. A couple of months later, Noah gets a call to saying they've found her. Noah knows that Storm's changed. She pretends to be okay, but he knows that she isn't. And sometimes, on those colorless days, Storm fades. Noah watches as her bright eyes are replaced with dull ones, as her mind recoils and locks itself away and as a barrier is put up around her heart. Can Noah piece together Storm before everyday becomes a colorless one? *Yeah I know it's a cliche story - get over it.*
