It wasn't supposed to happen this way. Not like this. Not with me in the front lines of peace and war. On the edge of rebellion. Leading a team of powerful people who don't fully trust me, but I don't have a choice. They need me, I need freedom, sunshine, to be back home. 

I don't want this power that courses through my veins. I've seen firsthand what it does to people, corrupts them, kills them, eats them from the inside. Until they are mentally destroyed, mental sludge, an empty void, devoid of any personality or love that they had in a past life.

Now I'm here, no choice but to spill as minimal blood as possible to get back what is rightfully mine. Freedom. So let it begin. The rebellion is coming.

It was an accident. Doctor Alice Birch was not supposed to gain her powers how she did, or at all. She was your average scientist working with not-so-average super humans. Until she messed up, badly. She has to learn what life is like for her super human patients, stuck in a government facility. Sure she makes friends, but she needs to escape. She wants her freedom back and will do anything to get it.

Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.
