His real home, the place where he was born, Elemental, is in the midst of a terrible war. The People of the element fire and The People of the element water have been doing battle for years. A truce was made between the two royal courts, one that states that the firstborn of both elemental groups will marry, unifying them and ending the war.
Conrad is a key piece to this truce; he is the first born of the King and Queen of fire. Ren, son of King and Queen of water, will soon be his husband.
