In order to make peace between the two kingdoms, she needed to marry the son of that royal family. After hearing her father, the king, orders to marry her off to the other kingdom. She begged and kneeled outside the king's palace. Along with the hard driblets of the rain, Phoebe didn't stop and continued kneeling with dedication. She doesn't want to get married to someone she doesn't even know. Yes, there has been one time that she had seen that man, but for her growing up as a princess and only daughter of the kingdom Swoon, socializing and trusting other people are the hardest things that she could never easily give.
