The rain pounded on the thin roof, just like always. Elise was used to it. But this time, she was home alone. She heard a what sounded like a knock at her bedroom door. This got her attention for about a second, but then reality kicked in. She figured it was just the house settling. It really could've been anything, since the house was so old. She kept telling herself that until she heard a snicker, and saw a note slide under her door. The note was new, it wasn't just an old piece of paper floating around the house. Someone did this. When she opened up the note, she realized the amount of trouble she had caused...

'Lily.' A soft voice said from somewhere in the dark. My head was fuzzy and my body discontented from my brain. But the main thing was I felt no pain. I felt relief. I wasn't in the rubble anymore. I could hear beeps and distant voices. I knew I was safe in hospital. 'Lily, open your eyes.' I knew that voice. A happiness crept over me. 'Dan?' I tried to say but barely a sound left my dry mouth. 'Hey sleepy head.' It took far too much effort to do as I was told, but I eventually opened my eyes to see his beautiful face near mine. He was lying beside me in a hospital bed. The window behind him was dark. I wondered what time or what day it even was. I then noticed one of his hands was stroking my face and the other holding mine. 'You know how to scare me.' He laughed sourly. 'Sorry.' I whispered. 'De ja vu.' I told him. It was just like the time is woken up in hospital all those years ago with Dan beside me. After getting arrested at an illegal drug party, Tin has been recalled to Thailand, and put under his brother's merciless supervision. When Tul forces him to bring a date to a fancy gala dinner, Tin tells him angrily that he will bring the first person who walks through the door at the IC building. This is a one shot fic (that still ended up with 7 chapters) that I wrote because it was too hot outside to concentrate of my multi-chapter fics. It is a bit angstier than my other fics - but it won't have a sad ending, promise. (No sad endings for Tin and Can!) It started out with the realisation that I have seen a lot of fake dating fics where it gets later revealed that for at least one of the people involved it had never been fake. So, this is an exercise on how it could have gone if Tin and Can really went on a fake date as pure strangers.Complete
