Robyn and Cress have been best friends ever since they met on July 3, 2027 at the Lakeway Orphanage.  

Even though they are best friends, Robyn and Cress are complete opposites. It looks like the only thing they have in common is their friendship and the fact that they have no family. Despite their differences, the two just seem to be drawn to each other, they believe that their friendship will last forever. 

But something is coming, and after receiving many suspicious letters and dealing with with secrets and lies, they wonder whether they made the right choice by trusting each other.

Can Robyn and Cress's friendship make it through the shock of magic? Or the lies and horrors of their dreams? Maybe even time travel?
