After the Light's failed attempt to take over the League on New Year's Eve, Superman discovered Tyne Helen in an orphanage. The young, Atlantean girl was taken in immediately and won over the hearts of several Leaguers. She was adopted by Black Canary and given a place on the Team. The only problem was her past. 

She knew almost nothing about where she came from and had limited training from her mother before she passed. Her mother thought she took both of their secrets to the grave, but now Tyne and her new teammates are determined to discover who she really is. They want the answers on why Tyne was warned to fear other Atlanteans and will no stop until they do so.
