Christina thinks she's in for a boring summer, kicking back and relaxing in New York with her aunt, uncle and cousin she's never met, feeling jealous about how her mom and dad are in some fancy- shmancy Eurpoean country for their anniversary. Not to mention her good-for-nothing, makeup-obsessed, boring younger sister who thinks she's the best of the best and acts like she's older than Christina.

But what happens if one day at the park, a circus owner walks by when Christina and her cousin are acting like freaks and sees something nobody can explain, and decides that she needs this as an act in her circus?

And why is Christina now wrapped up in a black bag, knocked out and locked up in a lion's cage?

There's so many things she can't understand, but the one thing she really knows is: we have to get out of here.
