Damien Jones is, in some ways, a tough guy. He fights anyone who dares look at him the wrong way. He'd never hit a girl, however, not that they look at him the "wrong way." In fact, all of them look at him the way he wants them to- flirtatiously. 
Most of them, anyway. Myra Evans, is the exception. She knows his status and his name, and refuses to second glance him when their lives cross paths.
Damien is determined to figure out what it is she hates about him so much, even if it leaves him broken-hearted. 

**This is like most cliché books, except told in the guy's point of view. I'd like to say there's going to be a plot twist but you know, if I ship something I'm writing I'm going to make it canon. Maybe...**
