After years of abuse, Ashley's mother escapes the claws of her alcoholic and drug addict father. Not able to risk getting caught, she is forced to leave Ashley and Rosie with their father. The two girls are left to bear the burden the heartbreak and anger the father experiences. Wanting the best for her little sister , Ashley looks for work to raise the funds to send Rosie to college.
