"Alex, you have to trust me." Staring intently into my face, I couldn't help but shudder as I looked up at him. "I would never hurt you," he murmured as he softly caressed my face.
"That's a lot easier said than done. I can't even trust myself right now," I said, looking down to where he was holding his body against mine, pinning me to the wall.
"Look at me. Trust me, let go," he demanded.
Looking up at his face, I felt more vulnerable than I had in a long time.
"Let me have control. I'll take care of everything."
Staring into the face I've grown to be too fond of, I let myself loosen the ties I always kept tight. "I hope you know what you're doing."
