Juniper is 15, she has no friends and usually relies on staying home all day, doing homework, etc. She tries her best to avoid...being...abused by her dad. Michael Gough is the candy man in her city, hes 32 and he works at Gough Candy, a fantasy themed candy shop with creeps and scares around, most of his candy is based off of horror and space, sounds strange but everybody loves it. Some sell for a cent, others sell for almost 20 bucks, depends on who you are and what you buy, because the price changes each time. A candy button strip can cost 5 cents on Tuesday, and 3 dollars on Wednesday. He also handmakes his candy by himself, surprisingly he's just a lonely "old" man. And like any old story, curiosity killed the cat and Juniper wanders into his store.
