After the departure of the three siblings, the Smiling Critters find themselves involved in a dangerous adventure outside of PlayCare; threatened by the Rejected Critters, who seem to want to finish them off and take over the leadership of the group. Despite the plans, something seems to be wrong with the Smiling Critters; The group is greatly weakened and they do not seem to understand each other.
