He faces his life each single sunrise. He's just an innocent kit who'd love to be normal, but his blood's history is far bigger than his, and he is brought to meet new cats, in compensation to his lack of siblings and paternal figure.
As ugly scars patch his pelt he can't help but wonder.. How about a change in rules, a change in system and a change of heart of all the loyal warriors of his Clan?

I do use StarClan because I literally could not think of another name for the ancestors, I'm sorry. I also use some of the warriors "language" if you know what I mean. Also, please read the chapter 'Before we get Goin' it's also important. Don't leave just yet because of the main characters name. Now that is all I have to say. You may read. Firepaw is an apprentice training to be a warrior in TreeClan. After being separated from his family by a fox, he is forced into unknown terrain and picked up by a TreeClan border patrol. Firepaw proves himself worthy of becoming an apprentice. But life as a clan cat proves to be difficult and not just because it's winter and prey is scarce. His clan mates don't trust him, the deputy and some other warriors hate his guts, and many taunt and tease him for being a rogue in his past. Plus, there is lies and betrayal at every turn. Book 1 of the 'Ignite' series. NOTE: There is a violent theme to this book. It involves graphic scenes like battle, fighting cats, and death.
