Melanie Martinez has had a tough life. Her family is messed up, people constantly make fun of her, she's been in an abusive relationship, her boyfriend is always putting her down, her mother hides a dark secret, and her friends are never at her side. Melanie was even almost kidnapped by a crazy stalker/admirer. She is very insecure; she always feels that she says the wrong thing and feels that she's ugly. It's gotten to the point where she is considering plastic surgery. Will Melanie find happiness or will her life continue to spiral downwards?

this is a story I wrote a while back based on what goes on in an abused child's home, the dollhouse as Melanie calls it. It's not cut into chapters, but does have stopping points.
