The group after Glenn's death go to Hilltop because Maggie and Daryl needed doctor right away. Jesus helped the doctor Harlan and stayed by Daryl's side. Something good happened while they spent time together.
Jesus made Daryl stand up again. To feel, to live.
~~I'm writing this before season 7 I don't know who dies so I'm writing Glenn just like in the comics. The action is pretty fast but since it was a one-shot.. I hope you enjoy this smol one-shot of my otp:)

Tranquility
All his life Daryl's had this annoying ability to read the minds of everyone around him with no way of making it stop, except to live in isolation. So he moves up in to the mountains and only comes to town a few times a year, but is meet with glares and an hateful thoughts each time. While trying to hurry up and get the few items he needed, a stranger runs in to him and for once, Daryl hears nothing. Not one single thought from this man or the other people around them.
