A girl that lives in Washington DC meets a boy with a reputation. May Abrams is a beautiful young woman who has a normal life. She goes to an inner-city school, where she meets a handsome red-haired boy when they are assigned as partners in history class. The boy is shy, awkward, and socially inept, while the girl is sweet, yet shy, but energetic at the same time. The pair barely talk until he suddenly invites her to his house to work on the project.
