Dan Howell is just a boy of nowhere; he doesn't get recognition for anything in his old town, filled with the same old people, doing the same things that they always do. Until he meets Philip Lester: the only new thing in his life.

Phil makes Dan feel differently about his life; where Dan has only ever felt negative, Phil brings his innate sunlight. This makes Dan question his life: is it worthless, like he's always thought? Or is it priceless?

And can anyone get in the way of their relationship? Will they have the happy ending that they both need?
