Hello! My name is Emily. I am an 18 year old senior in high school. I love music, sometimes reading, going to church, and being with my family and friends. Sometimes thoughts come to me and I post them on Facebook and I felt like they had a really strong impact on some people. So, I thought I'd put them together and write them out in an easy to read format. So, here they are, "Devotions for the Heart & Soul"

Lord,
I pray for everyone reading these. May they find comfort and hope in You. I pray that this will encourage them however you want it to. Lord, I pray for all the hurting, that they will know you and come to you for rest. Father, may your will be done.

Into the wild
Hurt, pain, doubt, insecurity, temporary happiness, fear, toxic relationships, anger, anxiety, issues, and chaos. They were the unwelcome passengers on my road trip of life. While being pregnant with my daughter Lea, I was in a really dark place and one day I met some random girl in college name Nicole, she sat next to me on the hallway floor. Her being there was making me tremble from the inside out. But it wasn't her, it was Jesus in her. The way she let Jesus take over her life, made everyone feel the presence of God.
