It has been 300 years since the battle of yavin. There have been many challenges to the New Republic from the remnants of Palpatine's Galactic Empire to the invasion of the Vong. Peace though hard fought was achieved and the New Jedi order kept that peace for over a hundred years. Now that peace is being threatened tensions are rising between the Jedi and the Sith.
