She was the bane of his existence, but also the only purpose for it. Ever since that little rebel appeared, with her black cloak and fox mask, he knew she would be the stain in his life that refused to go down easy. And this was his world, his chess board to own and control. He never would have expected someone to challenge him, try and tear down the world he had worked so hard to keep in balance. Now, he will stop at nothing to make sure she is erased, and that he is the only one with pawns. But, what if he starts liking playing chess with a worthy opponent? What if he knows that his rival is also a pawn, one that he could play right into his hands?
(A Mayadere is the ultimate form of a tsundere, more violent and dangerous. A Mayadere is the antagonist, starting with the full intention to hurt or kill the protagonist, but soon falls in love with them. I honestly have a soft spot for Mayaderes, thus my inspiration for this story. Enjoy!~)
