This is an essay I had to do for English class. I got a A+ and had to share it with the class. I cried as soon as I had to say that my cousin was killed for the first time out loud ever since he died five months earlier. Below is a link to the article about his death. Despite everything he did or was accused of doing nobody can say that he was a bad kid because they did not know him or his home life or anything about him. Please when you read this and/or the article remember that he was a person and has family an friends who still mourn his death. He had a child on the way and wanted nothing more than to father her and to care for her.

The School Escape
It was a normal day, until we heard those static noises. The next thing you know everyone is running out the classrooms. I can hear students screaming and running. When I step out I see bodies all over the floor. My old friends covered with blood, like a red blanket covering them. Follow as a group of students try to escape this hell. Their past catches up to them. They have to face reality and stop trying to hide the past. What they didn't expect was for the past to catch up so quickly.
