Life isn't easy especially not for 16 year old Anastasia Forester. After a series of misfortune, from her dad leaving after the birth of her younger sister Daisy then her beloved brother Cullen’s mysterious death in the program, she begins to doubt that life is in any way perfect. But when she is chosen by the program, she begins to doubt herself as well. She needs help to see the bright side once again, but is she the only one?
Bennett Clarke has had it tough from birth, from an abusive mom, to being recruited early. He throws himself into the program to become the “perfect soldier” in the board’s eye, because it’s all he has left. There is only one problem, their version of perfect happens to be isolated. When around people Bennett wears a tough persona that has people running away crying, but could one girl change all of that? Is he capable of loving again?
A story of two twisted teens, in a thoroughly screwed up society. Can they help each other make it out not only alive, but happy? Or will Bennett’s dark past get in the way?
