December 10,World war II,1939 I walk with my squad, our guns ready to fire at the Japanese soldiers at any moment. Out of nowhere, we hear "kamekanze bonzai!" And Japanese soldiers come out of spider holes. We lost a couple of men but we won that scary moment. We continue to walk and there haven't been Any other soldiers so we radioed the command center and told them that we've only encountered the Japanese once today, which was kinda off because the Japanese were always alert. We get back to base and discuss our plans. December 11,1939 It was a cold and rainy day. It was very foggy and i couldn't see shit. We walked along a path, the only thing we could see in the fog. I hear the battle scream of Japanese soldier and the sound of a wood covering opening. They charged at us with their bayonets, i was tackled and pushed to the ground and blacked out. When i awoke, i couldn't see my crew anywhere. I got up and worked my way along the path.

**This story does contain the use of German and the French language** "It's been Forty-Five minutes since the first bomb dropped..." "Hmm..." smoke left his lips in a slow and steady cloud, a cigarette resting between a pointer and middle finger in his right hand. Eyes glued to the dark winter night sky, panning search lights among the stars, bursts of bright dots turning into balls of fire, flicking the burning stick onto the ground, trapping it under his boot. "The Army is already gathering, we should go..." dragging his eyes from the sky over to the tall man with a smooth voice standing beside him, watching the way his eyes would shine with the bursts of light in the sky, dancing against the forest green of his eyes.
